MAKING SPACE FOR DEATH

INFORMATION

Death Café

Death Café

A safe place to talk about life, death, and everything in between
What is a Death Café?
A Death Café is a friendly, informal gathering where people come together to talk about death
and dying. Conversations happen over tea, coffee, and cake — because sharing food makes
it easier to share feelings.
The Purpose
The goal is simple: to increase awareness of death so we can make the most of our lives.
Talking openly helps reduce fear, build connection, and encourage living fully.
What to Expect

  • Open, respectful conversation
  • No agenda, no judgment, no pressure
  • A supportive space to share, listen, or simply be present
  • Not therapy, but a chance to connect with others who are curious and caring
    Why It Matters
When we break the silence around death, we:
  • Ease the weight of fear and isolation
  • Strengthen community through honest sharing
  • Discover meaning, gratitude, and peace in everyday life

■ Join the Conversation.

■ You don’t have to talk — just being there matters.
